Happy Hanukah !

Hanukah, also spelled Chanukah, is the Jewish Festival of Lights. This holiday follows the Hebrew lunar calendar and can fall anywhere from late November thru late December. In 2008, Hanukah will begin at sundown on December 21 running thru December 29. The holiday is marked with family meals, festive parties, exchanging small gifts, and lighting the menorah every evening. Many children enjoy not only the gift exchange but also exchanging Hanukah gelt (chocolate coins) and playing dreidel.
